The vest connects to any existing compressed air source - simply put the vest on, drop an air line from the ceiling or put a tee on your current air tool line and you are ready to go. The vest works by two patented methods to cool personal. Air is drawn in by a compressor where the air that was heated by the compression, much like a diesel engine, then cools in the storage tank and is de-humidified by the condensing of moisture on the sides of the storage tank. The now ambient temperature air flows to the vest where tuned ports in the vest expel the air, where it drops in pressure and consequently in temperature.(Boyle's Law) Personal are covered in cool dry air exiting from the vest. The ports in the vest are not precisely perpendicular to the body with the effect of creating a circular flow of dry cooled air around the body effectively providing considerable additional effective cooling. Almost all users turn down the flow regulator from the maximum setting.
